Occupational safety and health risks of online content review work provided through digital labour platforms

Online content review work provided through digital labour platforms is stressful, emotionally and physically demanding, and can lead to musculoskeletal disorders. Digital labour platforms do not address such severe occupational safety and health (OSH) risks, or do so in a limited way.

This case study examines the OSH risks the relatively new type of work presents to platform workers. It also explores whether and how such risks are prevented and managed, emphasising practices and actions implemented by platforms.
