Parcel delivery work, or courier services, is becoming increasingly organised through digital labour platforms. This presents new challenges to the safety and health of delivery workers. Parcel delivery platform workers usually do not know what kind of tasks they will be doing, for how long and where. There is also an increase in subcontracting and non-standard work arrangements.
