Digital platform work: exploring its implications for workers’ OSH in Portugal

A webinar analysing the nuances, risks and opportunities of is set to take place on 7 May.

Organised in the context of the Healthy Workplaces ‘Safe and healthy work in the digital age’ Campaign, the event will showcase a comprehensive research study conducted in Portugal about the practical implications of digital platform work.

The session, hosted by our Portuguese focal point Autoridade para as Condições do Trabalho, will also highlight a campaign undertaken by them offering real-world examples of initiatives promoting safety and health in digital workplaces.

Occupational safety and health experts, occupational physicians, labour inspectors and other attendees will discuss the opportunities and risks associated with digital work and reflect on the impact of digital technologies on the nature of work and the related challenges to safety and health.
