Our aim is to disseminate information on OSH related good practices, develope safety culture and highlight importance of co-operation in all levels. Our activities are agreed on and executed together with the national social partners and expert organisations.

- Mandate:
- The Department for Occupational Safety and Health at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health is acting as national Focal Point in Finland. The main tasks of the department are: preparation of national OSH policies and strategies, preparation of occupational safety legislation and instructions on it, development of the working environment and functioning of work organizations, agreement on goals and resources of the regional OSH inspectorates and other OSH expert bodies, improvement of means and conditions for inspection, distribution and communication on OSH and participation of EU level and international OSH activities.
