Hungary launches the Healthy Workplaces Campaign 2023-25 in Budapest!

This European Week for Safety and Health at Work marks the start of the ‘Safe and healthy work in the digital age’ campaign 2023-25. Our focal point the Hungarian Ministry for Economic Development will host the campaign's inaugural hybrid conference for Hungary on 27 October in Budapest.

The event is expected to mark the beginning of this multi-year initiative dedicated to tackling the unique challenges of the 21st century workplace. It will address the evolving landscape of occupational safety and health and the potential of . Insights, experiences and best practices will be exchanged amongst attendees.

Professionals from labour and employers' organisations as well as government, private companies, academia and NGOs will be represented at the event. Since this new edition of the Healthy Workplaces Campaign is facilitating an important discussion about digitalisation in the workplace, it is essential that many key figures are involved in the conversation.

It will address the evolving landscape of occupational safety and health and the potential of (AI) AI refers to systems that display intelligent behaviour by analysing their environment and taking actions – with some degree of autonomy – to achieve specific goals. AI-based systems can be purely software-based, acting in the virtual world (e.g. voice assistants, image analysis software, search engines, speech and face recognition systems) or AI can be embedded in hardware devices (e.g. advanced robots, autonomous cars, drones or Internet of things applications). . Insights, experiences and best practices will be exchanged amongst attendees.
